Wekfest Seattle 2021 Part 1
Wekfest finally returns to Seattle after 2 years! I’ve attended a good amount of their gatherings in different states over the past decade, and I must say that they host one of the best car shows in the country. Most of the registered cars are nothing but high-quality builds, and it’s something everyone looks forward to every year. Until this day, I strongly believe the Pacific Northwest is still underrated with a lot of hardcore enthusiasts putting together some top notch work. Though this is why it’s great having events like this up here so that we can get more noticed & exposed to the whole industry. On the day of the show, I had just found out that this was the first Wekfest since the pandemic started. So yeah this was definitely a big deal to a lot of people. I wasn’t expecting the whole Lumen Field Event Center to be all the way full of cars due to the show being held in October and the big possibility of rain. Usually about a quarter of the registered cars in the past were from Canada, but with all the restrictions going on it was obvious they weren’t going to attend. Nonetheless the turnout was still great in my opinion! Just a heads up: my coverage wasn’t the best this year. There was too much going on in my head and every time I tried to make my rounds & get some photos, I would always run into someone I knew or haven’t seen in a long time and chopped it up with them. It wasn’t really a downside since I still got to network with a good amount of people, but overall I still had fun! So yeah don’t expect a lot of photos in this blog post or even the next one. For those that entered their car this year and expecting a photo to be featured, go punch air lol. There’s always next year and if you can’t wait for that, book me for a proper photoshoot. Enjoy!
This concludes Part 1 of my coverage. Like I mentioned earlier, don’t expect a huge variety of content. But yeah thanks for looking & reading! Stay tuned for Part 2! 🤙🏼
